Angela's funeral was just the way she would have wanted it. It was emotional and very humorous. Her Uncle, father, brother Charlie and her best friend Ruby Johnson spoke of all Angela's quirky ways, and all the funny things she had done.

Angela was extremely intelligent, a great cook, talked faster than the speed of light, had many friends and always wanted to help them.

I had known Angela as a little sweet girl growing up. She is my niece's daughter. I hadn't seen her for years until 2012, when she stayed at my home for a few days. She brought food and fixed an amazing meal. I couldn't keep my eyes off her - it was so fascinating to watch her talk. I'd never witnessed anything so incredible. She had her own set of adjectives and adverbs to describe her zest for life-- like 'amaaaaazing, sooooo wonderful'. She had a powerful and energetic personality. She started her 'Cool Gang' at a very early age.

She Loved the Golden Girls -- her brother said she knew every line in every episode.

Thank you for being a friend
Traveled down the road and back again
Your heart is true
You're a pal and a confidant.

And if you threw a party
Invited everyone you know
You would see the biggest gift would be from me
And the card attached would say
Thank you for being a friend.

No one knew the depth of Angela's problems. She hid it so well.

Farewell little girl - thank you for being my friend.
Aunt Arla
