JOPPA — Samuel F. Arnone, of Joppa, died Saturday, July 21, 2012.

He was the beloved husband of Dolores of 57 years; devoted father of Susan Arnone, Michele Argyros and husband Nicholas, Anita Ruth and husband Michael; loving grandfather of Nicolette and Aristotelis Argyros, and Felicia Arnone.

He was the loving son of the late Michael and Lucy (Fabbri), and is survived by sisters Linda Arnone and Joanna Brewster, preceded by brother James and Arnold, and sister Rosie McKenzie; several nieces and nephews.

Sam served in the Army, and retired from Baltimore County Public Schools as a high school mathematics teacher of 27 years. He also worked as an auto mechanic at Heritage (formerly Auto Village) in Bel Air, until 2010.

Donations may be sent to St. Joseph's Medical Center Foundation, 7601 Osler Dr., Jordan Center, Suite 158, Towson, MD 21204. Direct the donations to The Cancer Institute of St. Joseph's.

A Mass to honor his life will be celebrated in St. Mary of the Assumption, 5502 York Road, Baltimore, MD 21212 on Aug. 4, 2012, at 1 p.m.
