Mrs. Sessions, 78, a resident of Minden, was an insurance agent with Jim Branch. She was one of the first women insurance agents in Minden. She was the wife of A.L. Sessions for 47 years, and was active at First Baptist Church in Minden for numerous years. Mrs. Sessions was also a volunteer at the Family Life Center and served in the dining room on most Wednesday nights. She was also a member of the Faith Sunday School Class.

Mrs. Sessions was preceded in death by her husband, A.L. Sessions.

She is survived by her son, William Charles Sessions and wife Janet of Bossier City; two daughters, Sandra S. Martin and husband Larry of Columbia, S.C., and Terri Prothro and husband David of Minden; brother, Richard Armstrong and wife Penny of Diamond Head, Miss.; grandchildren, Kenny Martin, Amanda Martin of Columbia, Drew Sessions of Shreveport, Lauren Sessions of Ruston, Christy Adams of Minden, and Alan Adams of Minden; and great-grandchildren, McKenzie Brayboy, McCella Martin and Jade Riley of Columbia.
