CHARLES E. RASMUSSEN

Charles Rasmussen, 68, of Rt. 2, Mishicot, died unexpectedly
Wednesday morning at home.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Lambert Funeral
Home, Mishicot, and 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Tisch
Mills. The Rev. Leonard Woelfel will officiate with burial in the
church cemetery.
Mr. Rasmussen was born Sept. 27, 1907, at Denmark, son of the late
Alfred and Delia Sladke Rasmussen. He married Mary Krizek Sept. 10,
1929, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Tisch Mills. He had been employed
at Manitowoc Engineering Co. and was a self-employed painter for many
years. He was a member of the ZCBJ Lodge, Western Bohemian Fraternal
Assn., Pleasant View Gun Club, and school board of the former Pleasant
View School.
Survivors include his wife; five sons, (private); five daughters,
(private); two brothers, Harry and Orville of Manitowoc; four sisters,
Mrs. Clarence Van Ess and Mrs. Eugene Matheys of Green Bay, Mrs.
Donald Newman of Laona, and Mrs. Florence Olm, of Maribel; and 19
grandchildren. An infant son and brother preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Lambert Funeral Home after 4 p.m. Friday where
a memorial service will be at 8 p.m.
