Clarence Samuel was a son of Carl Samuel and Evelyn B. Williams Samuel. He graduated from Mayo High School, Class of 1972. He joined Palmetto Baptist Church at an early age. Later in life he joined Ebenezer International Outreach Ministers. Clarence was employed by PET Dairy of Florence. Survivors included his wife, Minnie Lee Samuel of the home; his parents, Carl Samuel Sr. and Mrs. Evelyn B. Samuel of Darlington; two sons, Clarence (Traci) Samuel Jr. and Michael (Jalpa) Samuel, both of Columbia; five stepchildren, Tammy Pringle and Tyrell Pringle, both of the home, Joann Bowan, Joretta Wilson and Cynthia Munglo, all of Florence; two grandchildren, Clarence Samuel III and Caylen Samuel; an adoptive grandchild, Shaquajha Cato; 10 sisters and brothers, Nancy Samuel and Randall Samuel, both of Darlington, Christine Green, Dorothy (Ronnie) Roach, Barbara Pitts and James Williams, all of New Haven, Conn., Janice Samuel of Richmond, Va., Gertrude (Jimmy) Brown of Englewood, N.J., Ramona (Russell) Smith ofAlexandria, Va., and Ronald Samuel of Columbus, Ga.; an uncle, Ira Williams; three aunts, Ms. Carolyn Williams, Ella Mae Wright and Maxine Myers; sisters and brothers-in-law, Almeta (James) Grady, Ola Mae (Ricky) McKenzie, Lee Townsend and Alexander Townsend, all of Bennettsville, James (Sylvia) Townsend of Erwin, N.C., Jackie Townsend, Roger (Ann) Townsend and Steve Townsend, all of Dunn, N.C.
