Mrs. Edith Atwood -

Mrs. Edith Iola Atwood, wife of Robert Taylor Atwood, Bedford, died Sunday at the home of her daughter Mildred, Mrs. Iver Reece, Bedford. She was 51.Born in West Green Harbour the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ronald and
Bernice Sperry, she was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church and some years ago was an active member of the Sons of Temperance. She is survived by her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Ivor Reece and Vera, Mrs. Aston Robinson, Oshawa; seven sisters, Mrs. Ben MacKenzie, Mrs. Reg Hurlbert, Mrs.Janet Wolfe, Miss Annie Sperry, Mrs. Basil Wolfe, Mrs. Beulah Wamback and Mrs. Cecil Wamback, all of Halifax and County; two brothers, Randolph and Everett, both of Halifax; and five grandchildren. The body is resting at the H. D. Lindsay Funeral Home, Bedford, and funeral service will be held from
the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Parker Street, Halifax on Tuesday at 2p.m. Pastor Harold Friesen will officiate. Interment will he in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Sackville.
