The funeral of Dr Edson J Abbey, who died at his home in Jersey City Heights Tuesday night, after an illness of only a few days from heart failure (the outcome of pneumonia), was attended at the Congregational Church in Chester yesterday afternoon. He was a native of Chester.
After learning the dental business he worked in Scranton, PA several years before going to his late residence. Besides a wife and son, he leaves a father and mother, Mr and Mrs G M Abbey of Chester and two brothers, Dr D B Abbey who has an office in the Sage-Allen Building in Hartford and Myron G Abbey of Imlay Street, Hartford.
