Lucille Henry, 96, South Coffeyville, OK, formerly of Vernon County, MO, passed away on Friday, November 30, 2012, at her home in South Coffeyville. She was born on June 23, 1916, in Kingfisher, OK, to Joseph E. Ruhl and Emma M. Harmon Ruhl. She married William R. "Bill" Henry on May 6, 1936, in Kingfisher, OK. He preceded her in death on January 1, 2007.

Lucille lived on a farm near Stillwater, OK, until 1942 when she moved to Vernon County, MO. She resided in Vernon County until 2004. Lucille worked for Nelly Don for 17 years, retiring in 1977. She enjoyed sewing, fishing, dancing, and trail riding with her husband. Lucille was a member of the United Methodist Church.

Survivors include one son, Paul Henry and his wife Barbara, South Coffeyville, OK, six grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Ellen Moran; two brothers, Everett Ruhl and Joseph Ruhl; one daughter, Sue Harnden, and one great-granddaughter.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 4, 2012, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, MO. Interment will follow in Newton Burial Park, Nevada, MO. Friends may call now and until the hour of service at the funeral home.
