Katherine was born in Aspen, Colorado on February 5, 1924 to August and Anna Anderson.

She attended Mesa College in Grand Junction, Colorado and worked at Buckley Field Air Force Base in Denver during the war years before moving to Long Beach, California.

Katherine married Edward Kaspar in 1948.

After the death of her husband in 1971, she worked as a window clerk in the Lakewood, CA post office until her retirement in 1987.

She was a member of Tops #27 Lakewood.

The greatest joy in her life was to spend time with all of her children and grandchildren and she never missed an opportunity to be w ith them. She will be dearly missed by those she left behind but her loving kindness will never leave our hearts.

She is preceded in death by
her husband;
brother, Ray;
and her three sisters, Hazel, Ruth and Lilly.

She is survived by
children: Eddie (Barbara), Patricia (Richard Harrington) and Janice (Don Popish);
8 grandchildren: Jenny Vella, Marcie and Scott Kaspar, Richie and Trever Harrington, Anakarin Pratt, Lisa Schoon and Garrett Popish;
and numerous nieces and nephews.
