The death of Mrs. Cora Acker, wife of Curtis H. Acker of Oakland, occurred last Friday at the Frank H. Acker home in the mountains south of Livermore. The family resided here for many years, and she had many friends among the older residents who greatly regret her passing. She was a native of San Francisco, aged 50 years, 1 month and 9 days, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John McIver, former Livermore residents. The funeral was held Sunday, services being conducted by Rev. Edwin B. Hays of the Livermore Presbyterian Church at Reimers' Funeral Parlors. Interment was in the Masonic Cemetery here. She is survived by her husband, and three children—Edgar Acker of Oakland, Charles Acker of San Francisco and Miss Alice Acker of Oakland.
