Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home - Deanna Collins, 55, of Honey Grove, TX passed away Saturday, February 9, 2013 at Red River Regional Medical Center, Bonham. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at the First Baptist Church in Honey Grove with Dr. Ken Yates officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Honey Grove.
Serving as Pallbearers will be: Lanny Collins, Mark Collins, Doug Collins, Lance Collins Garrett Banker and Chase Banker. Family visitation is planned for 7-8:00 P.M. Tuesday February 12, 2013 at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home in Honey Grove.
Myrna Deanna Collins was born August 14, 1957 to Weldon Landrum and Anna Myrtle (Barnett) Collins in Paris, TX. She was a life-long resident of Honey Grove having attended Honey Grove Schools and worked for her family's business, Collins Piggly Wiggly, and then later worked in production at The Banner Co. in Honey Grove. She was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church, Honey Grove, and had many friends in her community.
Deanna is preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers, Lanny and Buster Collins.
Deanna is survived by her brother Chris of the home, nephews Lanny and wife Kathy Collins, Mark and wife Pam Collins, Doug Collins and niece Valerie and husband Bill Banker.
