Alfred J. Patterson, a lineman, age 31, married Annie L. (Noonan) Hoye, age 33. He was born in Vanceboro, ME, son of Andrew and Mary (Burton) Patterson. She was born in Taunton, daughter of David and Mary (Roach) Noonan. This was his first marriage and her second, as she was a widow.

[When Alfred Joseph Patterson filed his WWI Draft registration on September 12, 1918 in Taunton, he was 41, having been born Sept. 20, 1877. He was a lineman for N. E. Tel. & Telegraph. He and his wife Annie were living at 37 Park St, Taunton. Described as tall with a medium build, blue eyes and brown hair. He claimed no disqualifying conditions.]
