John Noonan was born Jun 27, 1879 when his parents were living on Randall Street in Taunton and his father was working as a blacksmith.

On July 28, 1907 in Taunton, MA, John D. Noonan, 28, a teamster born in Taunton to David & Mary (Roach), married Mary A. McGuire, 30, a domestic born in Taunton to Patrick J. & Ellen (Coyle). This was the first marriage for both.

In Sep 1918 John David Noonan filed his WWI draft registration card when he and Mary were living at 37 Oak Street and he was a self employed teamer. At that time he was described as having a medium height and build, blue eyes and red hair.

On June 17, 1920 in Taunton, MA, John D. Noonan, 41, a teamster born in Taunton to David & Mary (Roach), married Sarah (Dowd) Donnelly, 27, a housekeeper born in Ireland to Thomas & Catherine (Reilly). This was the second marriage for both (both widowed).

John D. Noonan, 54 Park Street, died suddenly at his home Friday morning. Although he had not been in good health for some time, the end came unexpectedly. He was born in Taunton, lived here all his life and was well known in the city. He was engaged in the express business at one time, and was a communicant of St. Mary's Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Sarah (Dowd) Noonan; one brother, Patrick Noonan of this city; one sister, Mrs. Julia Patterson of Middleboro; three daughters, Mrs. Helen Collins, North Dighton, Mrs. Mary Martisus and Miss Anne Noonan, both of Taunton; two sons, David and Thomas of Taunton; two step-children, Edward Donnelly and Mrs. Catherine McCarthy, both of Taunton.
