Leonard Tim Russell Norris, Jr, 69, died Thursday morning, November 25, 2010 at the Arbors at Clyde under hospice care.

Born on May 10, 1941 in Genoa, he was a son of Leonard Russell and Edna (Rose) Norris, Sr. Tim graduated in 1960 from Fremont Ross High School and later served in the US Army during peacetime. Tim worked as an UPS driver for over 30 years. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Fremont, the Fremont Eagles and the VFW. A loving grandfather, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, camping and gardening.

Tim was also known to have a strong interest in genealogy. Surviving are children Stacie (Troy) Lowery of Clyde, Timothy Norris of Fremont; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and siblings William (JoAnn) Norris of Columbus, Scott (Sue) Norris and Vickie (Dave) Lamb of Clyde. Tim is preceded in death by his parents and brother Richard Dick Norris.

Funeral services will be Monday, November 29, 2010, 10:30 a.m, at the Herman-Kinn-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Fremont. Rev. Paul Gruetter will officiate. Visitation will be at the funeral home Sunday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m.

Burial with Military Rites performed by the Fremont American Legion and VFW will be at Oakwood Cemetery.

Contributions in his memory may be made to Hospice of Memorial Hospital.
