Shelia M. Kelly, 72, of Sioux Falls, died Thursday, February 7, 2013 at Sanford USD Medical Center.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM Tuesday, February 12 at St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church, with burial at St. Michael Cemetery, Sioux Falls. Visitation begins at 12:00 PM Monday, February 11 at George Boom Funeral Home, Sioux Falls, where the family will greet friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM and a Liturgical Wake Service and Holy Rosary begins at 7:00 PM.

Shelia Marie Naber, daughter of Edmund and Cecilia (Bunkers) Naber, was born August 27, 1940 in Pipestone, MN. She received her elementary education at Lake Park, IA. Shelia moved with her family to Newport Beach, CA, where she graduated from high school. She moved to Sioux Falls, SD in 1965.

Shelia was united in marriage with Lee LaFollette on May 30, 1970 in Sioux Falls. Lee preceded her in death on March 17, 1986. Shelia was united in marriage with Charles "Chuck" Kelly on June 27, 1987 in Sioux Falls.

Shelia loved being with and helping people. When you were with her, she treated you as her most favorite person in the world. Shelia helped countless people through her involvement with Alcoholics Anonymous. She loved pets, especially dogs. Above all, Shelia cherished her family and spending time with them.

Shelia's Catholic faith was of utmost importance to her. She was a charter member of St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church and the Oblates of St. Benedict.

Grateful for having shared her life are her husband, Charles "Chuck" Kelly; three children, Brenda Kelly, Sioux Falls, SD, Edmund Kelly, Sioux Falls, SD, Brent Kelly, Sioux Falls, SD; several step children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a brother, Mark Naber, Sioux Falls, SD; and a host of other relatives and friends.

In addition to her husband, Lee, Shelia was preceded in death by her parents.

Shelia's family requests that memorials be directed to Alcoholics Anonymous or St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church.
