Aileen Palmer Robinson was born in Sand Springs, Oklahoma on February 23, 1927 and departed this life in Tulsa on February 8, 2013. She was 85 years of age.

Aileen was the daugher of Clarence and Edith (Wells) Palmer. She grew up in the Weleetka area and graduated Weleetka High School. She married Edward M. Robinson in Olahoma City on October 12, 1946. Edward preceded her in death on January 28, 2001. Aileen enjoyed a career as a bookkeeper. She worked for many years at Emmer Brothers in Oklahoma City. She and her husband made their home in Midwest City until 1975 at which time they moved to their farm southeast of Prague. Aileen's favorite hobby was quilting. She was active in quilting groups in Shawnee and Prague. In addition to her hisband, she was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Brenda Wood, a grandson, two brothers and five sisters.

Aileen is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Philip and Marie Robinson of Oklahoma City; one daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Doug Tye, of Arlington, Texas; grandchildren, Christopher Edward Robinson and his wife Andrea of Choctaw, Lindsey Beth Brown and her husband Kevin of Midwest City, Bryan Douglas Tye and his wife Jacquie of Cincinnati, Ohio, Joshua Edward Tye and wife Christi of Arlington, Texas, and Erin Michelle Wood of Austin, Texas; great grandchildren, Lily Robinson, Holden Robinson, Casey Brown, Mason Tye, and Kylie Tye; brother and sister, Claude Palmer and his wife Bernice of Okemah, Lorene Darby of Okemah, and many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
