Mrs. Anne Hodges Thomason, age 53 of Mableton, Ga, died December 26, 2000 at Wellstar Tranquility Hospice, Austell, GA, after a courageous 3 year battle with breast cancer. She was born on November 20, 1947 in Atlanta, GA to the late James and Geraldine Ricks Hodges . She grew up and graduated from Hapeville High in 1966. She was a member of Hapeville Presbyterian Church. She offered much support to many who faced the battle as she did with breast cancer. Survivors include husband, Jerry Thomason of Mableton, Ga; daughters, Stacy A. and Duane Lackey of Douglasville, GA, Suzanne M. Thomason of Mableton, GA, Sandra T. and Randy Stinson of Dallas, GA; one sister, Marie H. and Jim Patterson of Miami, FL; brother, James H. "Jimmy" Hodges III of McDonough, GA; two grandchildren, Tyler Lackey and Courtney Stinson and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted December 29, 2000 at 2:00 p.m. from Clark Funeral Home Chapel, Hiram, GA, with Rev. Ron Cobb officiating. Interment following at Paulding Memorial Gardens in Hiram, GA.
