Dora Garcia
Dora Garcia passed away on April 24, 2004 in Cedar City, Utah. Born November 26, 1932 in Boise, Idaho to James Benson and Ethel McKnight Case. Married Candido (CanSoup) Garcia on June 12, 1950. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, having served in many callings. She and her husband served missions in the Salt Lake and St. George Temples and at Cove Fort. She valued her testimony of the Savior above anything else. She is survived by her loving husband; children, Debra (deceased) Karen (Mike) LaOrange, Milo (Alicia) Garcia, and Angela (Shawn) Murphy; 14 grandchildren; four great-grand-children. Funeral Services will be held Friday, April 30, 2004 at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary 3401 S. Highland Drive, Salt Lake City at 12:00 where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment: Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park. The family would like to thank the staff at Valley View Medical Center, Cedar City, for their kind and tender care. Also, a special thanks to their many neighbors and friends in Salt Lake, Milford and Duchesne, Utah.
