Little Shirley Hope Saverance, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. E. Saverance of Glenwood section, was laid to rest Wednesday afternoon, April 8th in the Sparrow Swamp cemetery, under a mound of beautiful flowers. The service was conducted by the Rev. Mr. Gunter. Though she was permitted to remain in this world only seventeen days, the little one had already found a warm place in the hearts of her brothers and sisters, and her going has brought genuine sorrow in the home.
