Eileen W. Burkhart, 78, of Ellisville, died Friday, April 3, 2009, at her residence. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 6 at Memory Chapel with burial in Union Line Cemetery. Rev. Gary Kelly officiated.

She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Burkhart; two brothers, Melvin Williamson and Alvin Williamson; and one sister, Bertha Mae Knotts. She is survived by her brother, Calvin Williamson; sister, Dorothy Jean Windham; three sons: Dan McEldowney of Biloxi, Haskel A. Todd of Ellisville, and John Sewell of Kentucky; seven grandchildren: Daniel McEldowney, Jason McEldowney, Crystal McEldowney, Lilly Ann McEldowney, Luke McEldowney, all of Biloxi, and Summer Wien Sewell and Whittney Sewell of Kentucky; and a host of other relatives. Visitation was held from 5 until 8 p.m. Sunday at Memory Chapel of Laurel, which is in charge of the arrangements.
