He had worked for Global Oil in Louisiana and Abby & Svoboda in Seattle. More recently he worked for United Marine Divers of Spokane as an underwater welder.
He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, jet skiing, and four-wheeling.
The family has suggested memorials to the Lanny R. Olson Youth Group Fund, Presbyterian Church, Bovill, Idaho.
