Charles W. Purdham, age 84, of Milton, FL passed away Monday, February 4, 2013.
Charles was preceded in death by parents and siblings, daughter Debbie and granddaughter, Opal. He is survived by his beloved wife, Carmen, of 53 years; son Charles Jr. and wife, Jacki, of Lincoln, NE; daughters, Martha and Vickie of Shenandoah, VA; Alice Penny of Bellevue, NE, and Marie and husband, Wayne Thomas of Bellevue, NE; 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.
He served in the United States Air Force for 25 years.
Funeral mass will be held on Monday, February 11, 2013 at St. Rose of Lima Church at 10:00 AM followed by inurnment at Barrancas National Cemetery Pensacola Naval Air Station. A reception will be held at the church at 2:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Covenant Hospice 5041 N. 12th Ave. Pensacola, FL 32504.
National Cremation & Burial Society has charge of the arrangements.
