Lenora Hillard Foster, age 91, passed away Thursday, February 7, 2013.

She was born August 29, 1921, the daughter of John and Harriet Hillard and lived most of her life in Randolph, Ohio.

Preceded in death by her husband, Robert, Lenora leaves two children Linda and Timothy. Lenora also leaves many nephews and nieces, and was especially close to Hallie Hostetler and John Spangler. In addition, "Norie" leaves a close friend of more than 80 years, Norma Jobe Warner.

The family would also like to thank special caregivers Donna Holden and Mary Ann Hammonds.

Lenora was happiest being a wife and mother. She was married to her husband "Bob" for almost 65 years. Before her marriage, however, Lenora was one of those famous Rosie the Riveters at Goodyear Aircraft during World War II.

Friends will be received Tuesday, February 12, 2013, from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral service officiated by Pastor David Ballert at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna. Final resting place will be Hillside Cemetery in Randolph. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Friends of the Randolph Library, the Randolph Fire Department, or Robinson Visiting Nurse and Hospice.
