Noah "Paul" Manning, 86, Marion, died at 6:00 pm, Wednesday, February 6, 2013. He was born in Bath County, Kentucky to the late Buck Manning and Mary Kelly. He married Rachel Spicer in 1952. She preceded him in death in December 1989.

He enjoyed his younger years making memories and telling his family funny stories. He was always finding humor in life. He was a great story teller and never got tired of reliving stories of days gone by.

He moved his family to Grant County in 1956 due to the tornado. He was a journeyman plasterer, repairing damaged homes and plastering many new homes in subdivisions and businesses including McDonald's North. His specialty was hand-swirled ceilings in residential homes.

Paul filled the void in his life by accepting Christ as his personal Savior in 1973. He loved reading the writings of the Apostle Paul. He attended Union Chapel Baptist from 1973 to 1989. He used his skill of plastering on many projects for the church and enjoyed Pastor Rickner and the extended church family.

He presently attended Liberty Baptist Church in Sweetser. He had a quiet personality, slow to speak, slow to anger and was loved by all who were privileged to know him. He will be forever missed by his family. Special thanks to Hayley (Sutton) Skinner for your care of dad.
