Miss Pearl Heatherly, the eighteen year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W.H. Heatherly, died of typhoid fiver Sunday afternoon, after an illness of about three weeks. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. O.D. King at the M.E. church at 2 p.m. Tuesday, after which the remains were interred in Maplewood cemetery.
Miss Heatherly was a very pleasant and bright young lady and had a large circle of friends in town. She was a member of the M.E. Church. The bereaved family have the sympathy of all in this, their time of sore affliction.
