She was a member of the West Dunbar Community Church; former employee of the Kanawha County Board of Education, as a school cook, and of Fletcher Enamel/Gilbert and Bennett.
Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Vance; and her brother, Tom Carney.
Mrs. Vance is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, June and Jack Frith of Dallas, Texas, Nancy and Gary Davis of St. Albans, Janet and Bill Caldwell of Scott Depot, Karen and Butch Loudermilk of South Charleston; 11 grandchildren, Todd Crowder, Megan Emmett, Brooke Davis, Kellie Thomas, Chris Thomas, Arika Blessing, Josh and Chloe Loudermilk, Jonathan Loudermilk, Kelly Ripka, Jordan Frith, Kara Olson; numerous nieces and nephews and their families.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 15, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with her special nephew, Mr. Rick Workman, the Rev. Doyle Young, the Rev. Victor Keathley, the Rev. Roy Jarrell and the Rev. Claude Loudermilk officiating. Burial will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.
