Rose was born September 28, 1928, in Barnesville, Minnesota the daughter of Hubert and Christina (Lander) Grommesh.She earned her B.S. in Food and Nutrition from North Dakota State-Fargo.On July 11, 1958, she was united in marriage to Roy Kintz.They have lived in the Iowa City, Coralville area since 1959.She worked as a Dietician.She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church of Cedar Rapids, Catholic Daughters of America and a member of the Craft Guild.
She is survived by her husband, Roy of Coraville, Iowa, two sons, John Kintz and his wife Cathy and Wayne Kintz all of Coralville, Iowa.Two grandchildren, Julie Kintz and John Kintz and his wife Cherise, one great grandson, Shawn.She is also survived by two brothers, Ralph and Mark Grommesh both of Barnesville, Minnesota.One sister, Lucy Grommesh of Muscatine, Iowa; one niece, Jennifer Paolinelli of Elgin, Illinois; and one sister-in-law, Irene Grommesh of Fargo, North Dakota.
She is preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Marcella Peterson, and one brother, Joseph Grommesh.
