CLARKTON -- Mrs. Myrta Thompson Putnam, 98, of Clarkton, died Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2003.
Mrs. Putnam was a math and science teacher for the Clarkton City schools for 45 years before retiring.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Clarkton City Cemetery by Dr. Michael Thompson. Arrangements are being handled by Gaskins Funeral Home of Clarkton.
Mrs. Putnam is survived by a brother, Buford Thompson of Columbia, Miss.
