W. B. Cromer, a farmer living near this city, and who was a few weeks ago adjudged of unsound mind and sent to the asylum at Terrell, died at that place last Saturday, and his remains were shipped here Sunday. Funeral services were held at the Methodist church, where Rev. J. B. Gober, pastor preached the funeral of deceased, after which the remains were interred in Van Alstyne cemetery. Mr. Cromer leaves a wife and seven little children who have the sympathy of every one. -- Van Alstyne News.
