Obituary: Owego Gazette, March 31, 1921---"Mrs Eliza Meder Cole died yesterday at her home near Catatunk, aged 75 years. Her funeral will be held at the chapel of undertaker Fred B. Emens on Front Street at 2o'clock tomorrow afternoon. Rev. Warren C. Taylor will officiate.
Mrs. Cole was the daughter of Simeon Barto and was born in the town of Owego.
Her first husband was Paul Meder, who died in May of 1916.
She leaves only a brother, VanNess Barto of Candor."
