Catherine (my 5th great-grandmother) was the daughter of Titus Laney and Christine Heister. She married Hans Devauld Funderburk, who was born in 1724 in Germany. He was the son of John Michel Funderburk and grandson of Adolph Von Der Burg and Princess Elizabeth of Berg. Their children: Mary Ann, John, David, Elizabeth, Catherine, Abel, Joseph *Jacob, Henry, Sarah "Sally", William Laney and George Washington Funderburk.
