Gerry: Roy B. Overturf, 91, of Kimball Drive died Friday (Feb. 11, 2005) in Heritage Green Health Care Center, Ellery.He was born Nov. 12, 1913, in Penfield, Pa., the son of Stanton and Josephine Pontious Overturf.
A Chautauqua County resident most of his life, he attended school in Penfield, N.Y.. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Emma Shutters Overturf, whom he married March? 20, 1937; two sons: Larry Overturf of Gerry and Simon Overturf of Canyon Lake, Calif; a daughter, Mary Knepshield of Greenhurst; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Pearl (Fiedor) of Penfield.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Darlene Porche; a granddaughter, Doreen Porche; three brothers: Walter, Earl and Wallace Overturf; and four sisters: Alice Beck, Edna Williams, Vernice Nelson and Verna Ecklund.
