Ivan Richard Albright, 96, passed away peacefully at his residence on Wednesday, February 6, 2013, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of the late Anna M. (Wintermyer) Albright, with whom he married on June 10, 1939. They were married for 73 years and their life together was rich and rewarding. Mr. Albright was born in York on March 18, 1916, son of the late John and Rebecca (Kroft) Albright. He was a man of strong faith and convictions, and had been a member of the York Seventh-day Adventist Church for 68 years. He retired from York Shipley in 1979. Ivan is survived by four children, James Albright and his wife, Connie of York, Donald Albright and his wife, Christine of Dover, Barbara Kuntz and her husband, Mark of York, and Karen Geise of Manchester; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by a great-grandson, seven brothers, and four sisters. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Shiloh Cemetery, York. The family has requested memorial contributions be made to Heartland Hospice Services, 3417 Concord Rd., Suite C., York, PA 17402. Arrangements were entrusted to the LeRoy R. Leber Funeral Home, Inc., 2290 School St., York (Shiloh).
