WEST YORK Charles A. Albright, 95, died, Saturday, June 26, 2010, at his residence. He was the husband of Lois E. (Minnich) Albright. Born on August 6, 1914, in Warrington Township, he was the son of the late John and Rebecca (Kroft) Albright.
Mr. Albright retired from Green's Dairy. Charles served in the U.S. Army during the WWII in Europe and North Africa. Mr. Albright received two bronze stars and a good conduct metal. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
In addition, to his wife, he is survived by, a son, Philip C. Albright of Manheim; a daughter, Marianne Albright of York; two grandsons, Nicholas H. Albright and Christopher A. Albright; a brother, Ivan R. Albright and his wife, Anna of Shiloh; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by four sisters and five brothers. Services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to White Rose Hospice, Memorial Home Health Services, 1412 Sixth Ave., York, PA 17403. The John W. Keffer Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., 2114 W. Market St., York, is entrusted with the arrangements. KefferFH.com Published in York
