Emma S. Phillips was the daughter of Samuel Phillips and Mary Levans. Her father served in the Civil War in Company E 110th Pa Inf.

Emma's first marriage was to Robert Maurice Croasdale on Jan 03, 1866 in Trenton, N.J. Children with R. Maurice Croasdale: Sarah Wilson Croasdale, born 1867; Samuel P. Croasdale, born 1868 and Lydia Mary Croasdale, born 1872.

Sometime before 1880, Emma left her first husband. In the 1880 census, Emma was living in Cecil County, Maryland as wife of Robert Gilmore Warwick.

Emma and her second husband went on to have one child together, a son, Walter Philip Warwick.

By 1900, Emma and Robert G. Warwick were living in Whitemarsh Township, Montgomery County, PA, where they lived until Robert Warwick's death in 1915.

Emma died in the Delaware County Home Hospital in Lima Borough, Middletown Twp., Delaware County, PA. Cause of death: Chronic Int. Nephritis.

She was buried March 14, 1938 in Cold Point church cemetery, Montgomery County, PA. (Source: death certificate.) There is no marker for her grave.
