Obituary: Mrs. Mary Pope

Mrs. Mary Pope, 83, of 831 Menonomie Street [Eau Claire, WI], died Monday at Sacred Heart Hospital. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Golden Funeral Home, and 11 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church, the Rev. Paul Servais officiating. Burial will be in St. Patrick's cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday afternoon and evening. Rosary devotions will be at 8 p.m. Thursday.

Mrs. Pope is survived by five daughters: Mrs. John Hains, Mrs. Al Martinson, Mrs. Merle [Rita] Gonyea, Mrs. Ralph [Evelyn] Lewis, and Mrs. Francis [Helen] Bautch, Eau Claire; four sons: Leonard Pope of Schofield, Wisc., George Pope Jr., Arthur Pope, and Ralph Pope, of Eau Claire; one sister, Mrs. Gilbert Larson of Eau Claire; and one brother, Arthur Torseth of Minneapolis; 68 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
