Mrs. Garrigues was born April 10, 1916, in Waynesboro, MS. She was a homemaker, a former member of United Methodist Women, and a member of Rocky Hill United Methodist Church, where she played piano for over 40 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe M. Garrigues; and her parents, Callie Pylant and Samuel Boutwell.
She is survived by her daughters, Sarah Garrigues of Louisville, MS, and Kay (Jimmy) Martin of Brandon, MS; her son, Robert (Jean) Garrigues of Gulfport, MS; four grandsons, Joey (Bonnie) Teichert, Grant Garrigues, Justin (Julie) Garrigues, and Brian Garrigues; and three great grandchildren, Lauren Teichert, Kade Teichert, and Jacob Garrigues.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Clark, Charles Clark, Joe Clark, Mike Cassell, Jim Mullins, Fred Nabers, Billy Boutwell, and Kade Teichert.
