IN MEMORIAM.
Freeman Bishop was born in Schuyler county, New York, April 6th, 1835. He was married to Miss Annie Sims 42 years ago the 14th of this month. He came to Kansas in 1870, and settled in Jefferson county the first day of June, where he has resided ever since. His wife died 19 years ago, September 12th, 1882. He leaves four children; two boys and two girls: Robert, Herbert, Minnie wife of D. H. Hudson and Nettie wife of John Mayo. He died January 31st, 1901, of consumption, and was buried from the M. E. church at Potter, Saturday afternoon, February 2nd, 1901.
