Jeanette Helen Carter, 95, of Danville, Illinois, passed away on Feb. 5, 2013, at Hawthorne Inn, Danville.
She was born Dec. 18, 1917 in Ogle County, Illinois, daughter of Louis and Kathryn Daveler Meyer. She was preceded in death by her parents and twin sons, John Arnold Carter and James Arthur Carter. She married Raymond Hugh Carter on June 2, 1948 in Franklin Grove, Illinois. He survives.
Also surviving are three sons, David (Bonnie) Carter, Paul (Judy) Carter and Philip (Cathy) Carter; one daughter, Mary Beth Chavarry; daughter-in-law, Mardelle Carter; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; a sister, Elyda Mattern and brother, Frank Meyer.
