Ora Butler Driver, 86, of LaGrange, Ga., formerly of Hogansville,
Ga., died Saturday, Feb. 15, 2003, at Hospice LaGrange.
Mrs. Driver, born March 22, 1916, in Randolph County, Ala., was the daughter of the late Enoch and Mae Annie Pearl Kittle Butler. She had lived in Troup County 40 years,
having previously lived in Heard County, Ga. She was a member of Springhill Baptist Church.
Survivors include five sons, Harlis Driver and Jimmy Driver of LaGrange, Billy Driver of Five Points, Larry Driver of Mobile and Roger Driver of Luthersville, Ga.; three sisters, Ary Skinner of Franklin, Ga., Cassie Bowen of Graham and Judy Smartt of Tucker, Ga.; a brother, Denson Butler of Franklin; 17 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 12
great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Garfield Driver; and two sons, J. R. "Buck" Driver and Bobby Driver.
Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 18, in the chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. Mark Peak officiating. Burial was in Myrtle Hill
Cemetery.
