ARTHUR W. SEWARD

Arthur W. Seward, 76, of Springwater died Wednesday (Jan. 29, 1981) in Noyes Memorial Hospital following a brief illness.

A native of Canadice and a Springwater area resident for most of his life, Mr. Seward had been employed at the C.F. Cannon Co. in Springwater. He retired from the City of Rochester Water Authority in Hemlock. He was a member of the Springwater Methodist Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Sharon Applin of Dansville, three stepchildren, two granddaughters and a great grandson, a brother, Harold of Clermont Fla.; a sister, Melva Snyder of Dallas, Tex.; nieces and nephews.

A service was conducted Saturday morning in the Watler E. Baird and Sons Funeral Home, Wayland, with the Rev. G. Calvin Sheasley officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Springwater.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
