Winifred Lee (Winnie) Baker, 90, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and proud member of "the greatest generation" passed away peacefully with her son and loyal caretaker at her side on February 4, 2013 after a lengthy period of declining health.
Mrs. Baker was a devoted Christian lady and a life-long Baptist. She loved the Lord and she cared for her family in a God-loving way.
She was born on May 9, 1922 in Kingsville, Texas. On September 3, 1942, she married the love of her life, Altert S. (Al) Baker. Mr. Baker died in '92 just months short of their 50th anniversary.
