Sadie Copley Accord Martin, 94, of Huntington, WV., went to be with the Lord Monday, February 4, 2013, at Wayne Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born Octobe 1, 1918, in Dunlow, WV., a daughter of the late Wayne Copley and Fairabelle Maynard.
Sadie was a retired nurse's aide for Fairhaven Rest Home and a member of Echo United Baptist Church. She was faithful, kind and helpful to all who needed her and took especially good care of her parents.
She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Donald Accord, and her second husband, William Martin, two sisters, Marie Copley and Doris Jean Walden Blevins, two brothers, Lawrence and William "Bill" Copley.
Survivors include three sisters, Wilda Mae Copley Walden of Huntington, Rosalee Copley Maynard of Dunlow and Delsie Copley Auxier Maynard of Huntington, with whom she made her home the last 30 years, a special niece, Sandra Kay Maynard whom she loved as her own daughter, a host of additional nieces and nephews.
Funeral service at Morris Funeral Home Chapel by Elder Leo Maynard and Brother Buster Maynard. Burial at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, W.Va.
