Mrs. Peace, 90, of Kalamazoo, formerly of Charlotte, NC, passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at Rose Arbor Hospice. She was born September 24, 1920 in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of the late Henry F. and Marie (Maloney) Gruss. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert J. Peace; 12 siblings, Marie Lowery, Angela, Henry, Robert, Frank, Kathleen Dilger, Helen Lowe, John (Bro. Kevin, CFA), Margaret (Sr. Genevieve, SIW), Virginia (Sr. Paul, SIW), Rosemary Owens, and Billy; and nieces and nephews, James Lowe, Robert Gruss, Virginia Dilger Garbincus, and Patricia Owens Biltcliffe.
Eleanor was a real lady with the cutest sense of humor. It was her love for her nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews that animated her life, especially in her later years. Surviving
