FLOYDADA - W.L. Davis, 86, of Floydada, died Sunday, April 19, 1992.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. today at First United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Bill Wright, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Floyd County Memorial Park, directed by Moore-Rose-White Funeral Home.
He was born in Putnam County, Tenn.; and was a longtime resident of Floydada. He married Jo Wylie April 28, 1934, in Lubbock. He was a retired farmer, a member of First United Methodist Church, and a member of the Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Lana Peterson of Amarillo; a son, Norman Davis of Abernathy; two sisters, Florence Jackson of Abernathy and Mattie Lou Cochran of Port Arthur; a brother, Horace David of Abernathy; and four grandchildren.
