Delma Roy Meek, 87, of Cameron, died Monday, January 21, 2013, in a Temple hospital. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Saturday, at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Kleypas officiating. Burial will follow in the Saints Cyril & Methodius Catholic Cemetery in Marak. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, at the funeral home.

Delma, a retired Dr. Pepper delivery man, was born in Milam County, Texas, to the late Frank and Annie (Larza) Meek. He was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II, and the recipient of the Bronze Star and two Purple Heart medals. He married Ann Kohutek on July 1, 1950.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann; son, James Ray Meek, in 1988; daughter, Doris Jungmann, in 2006; and brother, Frank Meek, Jr., in 1950.

Survivors include son-in-law, Larry Jungmann, of Cameron; and grandsons, John and Jeremy Jungmann, of Cedar Park.
