She was the daughter of the late Charles and Annie (Trostle) Nell.
She was a member of the Upper Conewago “Mummerts” Church of the Brethren, in Abbottstown, and was the widow of the late William W. Fertenbaugh.
Fertenbaugh is survived by one son, Charles H. Fertenbaugh, of Enola, and two daughters, Esther S. Heller, of York Springs, and Marion N. Albert, of Mechanicsburg. She also is survived by eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, Wale W. and William L. Fertenbaugh, one granddaughter and four brothers and sisters.
Interment was in Mummerts Church Cemetery, Abbottstown.
