Deborah A. Quick, 51, of 25 White Lane, Ashland, who fought a courageous and long battle with her health, passed away Sunday morning at her residence.

Born in Frackville, Jan. 31, 1955, she was a daughter of Mae Antalosky Decastro, Maple Hill, and the late Joseph Decastro. She was a 1972 graduate of North Schuylkill High School.

She was employed as a knitter for the former Reidler Knitting Mill, Ashland. A lover of animals, she is survived by her four cats, Buddy, Jasper, Cookie and Tinker, also her dog, Trixie. She loved to go camping with her family.

Surviving, in addition to her mother, are her husband, Barry T. Quick, to whom she was married for 31 years; a son, Barry J. Quick, Fountain Springs; a sister, Bonnie, wife of Paul Shuey, Hegins; aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family from Richard W. Fritz Funeral Home, Ashland. The Rev. Donald L. Snyder, pastor of Christ Congregational Church, Fountain Springs, will officiate. There will be no public viewing. Interment will be in Christ Church Cemetery, Fountain Springs. Richard W. Fritz Funeral Home, Ashland, in in charge of the arrangements.
