Born October 6, 1943, went to be with The Lord Dec. 19, 2005. Linda was born and raised in Martinez, the daughter of Jake and Doris Swearengin. She attended local schools and was employed by Mt. Diablo Hospital,for many years. In 1982, she married Jon Beckwith of Spanish Fork, Utah and eventually moved to Gilbert, Arizona. She worked for Alcoa Aluminum. Linda fought a courageous 15 month battle with cancer. Survived by her devoted Husband, Jon, loving daughter, Denise Rajotte (Andre) of Antioch, five loving step daughters, Dawnya, Shawna, Lisa, Lila and Jeena of Utah, grandson, Jesse Seilhan, of Antioch, mother, Doris Swearengin of Concord, sisters, Donna Onnias of Auburn and Nancy Roberrts (Jack) of Pacheco, nephew Tony Onnias of Auburn, niece Elisa Onnias of Auburn. She has an additional 23 grandchildren and one great grandchild by marriage. She was preceded in death by her father, Jake. Service will be held Wednesday, Dec 28 with the Rev.Joel Tetreau of the South East Valley Baptist Church officiating. Entombment in Mt. View Cemetery in Mesa. The family wishes to thank Hospice Family Care of Mesa for their exceptional care of Linda. Those we have loved will never die, but live in our hearts forever.
