George Ann was born Feb. 22, 1918, in Marion, the daughter of George William and Antice Gladys (Worley) Cutrell. She married Julian Kenneth Mayer on March 30, 1949, in Jackson, Mo.; he preceded her in death July 30, 1974.
She was a member of Third Baptist Church of Marion for more than 50 years and One Heart Church of Norcross, Ga., for the past five years. She worked at Sangamo Electric, Nate's Westside, Ron's Barbeque and the Farmer's Table.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth; brother, William J. Cutrell; sisters, Lola Dare and Carlynn Helbig.
